Koh Tao is famous for the tropical coral reefs and marine life which surrounds the island. But this fragile ecosystem faces wide ranging threats, including escalating sea temperatures, ocean pollution and rising numbers of tourists.
Join us and help protect Koh Tao’s coral reefs.
At Simple Life Divers we undertake a range of marine conservation initiatives to help prevent coral reef destruction. Around Koh Tao there are many artificial reef projects in place. We maintain a coral nursery, to grow damaged coral fragments then transplant back to the reef. Plus we’re active in diver education and organise regular beach and underwater clean-ups.
As a diver visiting Koh Tao, Thailand, you can take an active role in helping preserve the marine environment. Spend time with our marine conservation team and get involved!
