‘If your contemplating doing your Divemaster internship in the future, just do it and you will never regret it..’
Monster one month scuba diving internship taking you from beginner to seasoned PADI Diver. Explore coral reefs and ship wrecks around Koh Tao, soak up the island-style living and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime in the tropics.
No previous experience required for this epic one month dive internship, packaging together PADI dive training, all dive gear, accommodation and unlimited diving. Train through to PADI Rescue Diver plus undertake specialized diving courses including wreck diving, nitrox diving and deep diving. VERY exciting. Let’s look in detail and the steps and what is involved.
Your first step! Get certified to scuba dive to 18 meters anywhere worldwide. Course involves scuba theory, shallow skills to get to grips using diving gear followed by four open water dives exploring the dive sites and aquatic life around Koh Tao. Read more.
Diversify your skills and knowledge into new areas of diving. Make a deep dive to 30M, fine tune your underwater navigation (not easy!) and try night diving for the first time. Improve your buoyancy and air consumption, try underwater photography and learn more about the reefs and tropical marine species. Read more.
Till now you’ve focused on yourself. Now it’s time to become a more rounded diver, looking at how to identify and prevent potential problems. Work through scenarios including simulated surface and underwater issues, learning emergency management and how to assist divers in distress. Read more
Now things start to get really exciting.
During the combined PADI Deep + Wreck + Enriched Air (Nitrox) Specialty combo we make 8 more training dives, developing new skills and knowledge in exciting and challenging areas of diving. You’ll get certified right down to the recreational diving limit of 40M, giving the chance to explore areas rarely visited by divers. You’ll also learn to us enriched air gas blends containing up to 40% oxygen to extend your bottom time at depth and/or enhance the conservatism of your dives. Plus you’ll learn advanced wreck diving techniques culminating in the opportunity for a penetration dive inside the wreck of a former Thai naval vessel – very exciting!
Alongside the core dive courses you can take time out to ‘fun dive’ as much. Pair up with a dive buddy and head out on the dive boat exploring, putting what you’ve learned into practice. Great fun and the best way to improve your navigation skills and become familiar with the dive sites.
The dive internship includes rental of all scuba gear. Our school equipment sets are all professional quality, properly maintained by our western engineer.
Or if you are keen to purchase some or all of your own equipment we can sort you out. Get in touch to find out more.
Absolutely all PADI course manuals and certification fees are included as part of the dive internship. There are no hidden extras. Specifically:
Also included is 1 months accommodation. You get your own private room with double bed, WiFi, fridge and en-suite western bathroom with hot water.
Everything you need is very close by (dive shop, beach, bars and restaurants, ATMs etc), and the place is occupied by long term trainees (same as you) so is nice socially.
We run our dive internships year round so you can begin whichever date you prefer. All we need is a bit of notice to get everything lined up ready for your arrival.
People joining our programs all year round, so whenever you begin, you’ll be sure to have a good group to go through your training and share your experiences with.
If you’d like to go ahead, or have any more questions, please get in touch.
