Image: Karl and Maurus cruise the Koh Tao dive sites with DPVs
This festive season instructor Karl has been busy running the PADI Dive Propulsion (DPV) Specialty for Maurus.
DPVs aka Underwater Scooters or Sea Scooters are a great tool for scuba diving. Diving using a DPV you can cover more of the dive site and explore larger areas. Plus using the electric motor for propulsion rather than finning means you can minimise effort, maintaining a slower breathing rate and consersing your air supply to enjoy longer dives.
