Jake from Leicestershire, Daniel from Paisley & Willis from Manchester have begun their PADI Open Water Dive Course, guided by instructor Zac and assistant Bailee.
The gang were in the pool this afternoon learning to operate a scuba unit. We practiced clearing water from the mask underwater, recovering and clearing water from the regulator plus breathing from a buddies alternate air source. Plus we used fin pivots and hovering to tune buoyancy underwater, achieving weightlessness.
Next stop is open water dives 1 & 2 tomorrow afternoon where we’ll be diving the coral reefs off Koh Nangyuan.
