Wonderful afternoon out on the Simple Life Divers’ boat.
Igor, Laurane and Juliette made the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program with instructor Isabelle.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving is a single day try dive experience for people new to diving. Under close supervision you learn the basics of how scuba gear works, get used to breathing from a scuba unit underwater plus make shallow dives exploring the coral reefs and aquatic life.
Today for the first dive we headed to Mango Bay to the north of Koh Tao. We started out in super shallow water, getting used to being underwater and practicing a few simple skills to build confidence. Then made a shallow dive to max depth 6M exploring the bay, checking out the hard and staghorn corals and reef fish.
Next we headed to spectacular Nangyuan Island, diving the famous Japanese Gardens dive site where we could explore even deeper.
A great afternoon enjoying the sunshine, scenery and scuba 🙂
