Instructor Lucas & Master Scuba Diver Trainee Conor were in action today running the PADI Rescue Diver Course for Cutter, Hunter and Alexandria. With the assistance of DMTs (victims) Barry & Penna we started in the swimming pool learning rescue skills in a sheltered environment.
We worked on a bunch of skills including how to deliver rescue breathing at the surface whilst egressing with an unconscious victim.
Next we’ll be heading out to the option to put these new skills into practice, responding to simulated diving emergencies.
