Instructor Steve has signed off our latest group of PADI Rescue Divers here at Simple Life Divers, Koh Tao.
Over the past week the team have been learning to anticipate, prevent and handle diving problems both on the dive boat, at the surface and underwater. Skills we’ve been mastering are wide ranging; dealing with tired, panicked and even unconscious divers. Running underwater searches, surfacing with a victim and conducting overall emergency management. All the team did and great job and qualify as competent PADI Rescue Divers.
Next they’ll begin their PADI Divemaster internship where training steps up another gear. The team will be learning to assist in the training of new divers, plus gain experience running underwater tours for certified divers. More updates to come!
