The western bay of Koh Tao was idyllic as we headed out for morning dives, boarding our longtail taxi boat to head out to the main dive boat moored offshore.
Once our dive gear, students, certified divers and crew were loaded onboard the longtail, Divemaster internship candidate Tom took his turn delivering a ‘longtail briefing’ to the gang.
The longtail briefing is important to inform everyone of a few important procedures to stay safe and comfortable, plus give everyone an idea what to expect as we approach, tether to and board our main dive boat. Much is common sense, but its always good to give a few reminders to make sure everything goes smoothly. Tom did a good job and is shaping up to become a strong PADI Divemaster.
We motored out to the Chumphon Pinnacles dive site and enjoyed a fantastic morning of dives off Koh Tao.
Come join our crew and become a Divemaster: PADI Divemaster Internships in Koh Tao, Thailand.
