With an afternoon free and glorious sunshine, some of the gang headed out to make a shallow cleanup dive in-front of our resort.
Course Director Julian, Instructor Isabelle, newly certified Divemaster Tom & Divemaster internship candidate Tom made an underwater cleanup of Sairee Reef, Koh Tao.
Nowadays residents and tourism operators on Koh Tao are aware that we must protect the environment. Already many initiatives are in place to minimize our impact on the environment, for example disposable plastic bags are banned, plus there are recycling schemes in place. Yet its inevitable that some trash makes its way into the see.
In a single dive the gang collected a few bags of rubbish from the reef – great job.
You too can join our crew on Koh Tao: Scuba diving internships in Thailand.
