I had an amazing experience learning to dive here. I came all the way from America and had the most amazing dive instructors Alice and Young Master Dylan. They were so patient, supportive, and I felt so safe learning from them. I cannot put into words how much fun I had and how amazing my instructors were. We had a wonderful experience diving with our dive master Pete.
We joined him for a refresher in the beginning. Pete was very patient, attentive, and encouraging, helping us review all the key skills. Although I felt a bit nervous at first, his calm guidance quickly helped me relax and rebuild my confidence.
We also joined him for two dives later, and the experience was excellent. Pete showed strong leadership and organization, clearly explaining each dive plan and making sure everyone felt safe and included. Even in a larger group, he created a supportive and cooperative atmosphere, paying attention to each diver’s needs. Pete’s passion for diving is truly inspiring. It doesn’t feel like just a job for him—his enthusiasm makes the whole experience more enjoyable and meaningful. He even taught me how to make a water circle. That was fun!
What stood out also was the thoughtful and flexible dive planning provided by the group of Simple Life Dive . They are very flexible,  adjusting dive sites when needed to ensure the best experience, and designed dives in a way that allowed us to explore different environments, making each dive feel rich and worthwhile.

Would highly recommend diving with Simple Life!

We had a great time here doing a refresher dive then our advanced course and some fun dives. I also did my first night dive here on a wreck which was super fun.

The instructors were excellent at teaching things clearly and safely. They would always answer any questions thoroughly and take their time to explain things. A huge thanks to Alice, Ciaran and Cat!

We managed to visit all the dives sites we wanted to and enjoyed every dive. We saw some incredible wildlife and improved our diving loads.

Everyone there was also so friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations for Koh Tao in general.

Sail Rock อยู่ที่ไหน?

Sail Rock หรือ หินใบ เป็นหนึ่งในจุดดำน้ำที่ดีที่สุดของเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ตั้งอยู่กลางทะเลระหว่างเกาะเต่าและเกาะพะงัน

ใช้เวลาเดินทางจากเกาะเต่าไป Sail Rock ประมาณ 1.5 ชั่วโมง ขึ้นอยู่กับสภาพทะเลในวันนั้น

ร่วมออกผจญภัยกับเรา เพื่อสำรวจจุดดำน้ำระดับโลกแห่งอ่าวไทย

ลักษณะภูมิประเทศใต้น้ำของ Sail Rock

เหนือผิวน้ำ Sail Rock ดูเหมือนเพียงเกาะหินเล็ก ๆ กลางอ่าวไทยที่ไม่มีผู้คนอาศัยอยู่
แต่สิ่งที่อยู่ใต้ผิวน้ำนั้นน่าตื่นตาตื่นใจกว่ามาก

กำแพงหินแกรนิตของ Sail Rock ดิ่งลงสู่ทะเลลึกประมาณ 30 เมตร ก่อนจะเชื่อมต่อกับพื้นทรายด้านล่าง เหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับนักดำน้ำ
Advanced Open Water

หินใต้น้ำถูกปกคลุมด้วยปะการังแข็งและปะการังอ่อนสีสันสดใส ซึ่งเกิดจากกระแสน้ำทะเลเขตร้อนและตำแหน่งที่ตั้งกลางทะเลอันห่างไกล

สัตว์ทะเลที่ Sail Rock

บริเวณน้ำตื้น คุณจะพบปะการังหลากหลายชนิด เช่น Porites, กัลปังหา, ปะการังโต๊ะ และดอกไม้ทะเล ซึ่งเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของปลาทะเลเขตร้อนจำนวนมาก เช่น ปลาผีเสื้อ ปลานางฟ้า ปลาทริกเกอร์ฟิช ปลาหมูสีสันสดใส ปลาเม่นทะเล ปลาไหลมอเรย์ และอีกมากมาย

เสน่ห์สำคัญของ Sail Rock คือการอยู่กลางทะเลเปิด ซึ่งดึงดูดฝูงปลาขนาดใหญ่จำนวนมหาศาล ฝูงปลาบาราคูดาหางเหลืองและ Chevron Barracuda มักรวมตัวกันหนาแน่นจนบดบังทัศนวิสัย ขณะที่ Giant Trevally และ Great Barracuda จะคอยล่าเหยื่ออยู่รอบ ๆ กองหิน

หากคุณมาดำน้ำที่เกาะเต่า Sail Rock ถือเป็นจุดดำน้ำที่ไม่ควรพลาด

Chimney Swimthrough ของ Sail Rock

Sail Rock มีลักษณะทางธรณีวิทยาที่โดดเด่นไม่เหมือนที่อื่น

บริเวณด้านตะวันออกของกองหิน มีปล่องว่ายลอดแนวตั้งชื่อดังที่เรียกว่า The Chimney
นักดำน้ำจะเริ่มเข้าสู่ปล่องที่ความลึกประมาณ 16 เมตร และว่ายขึ้นภายในปล่องหินก่อนออกสู่แสงสว่างที่ความลึกประมาณ 6 เมตร

ฉลามวาฬ

ฉลามวาฬ (Rhincodon typus) คือปลาที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก และสามารถเติบโตได้ยาวกว่า 10 เมตร

ฉลามวาฬจะอพยพผ่านอ่าวไทยเป็นช่วง ๆ และมักถูกพบกำลังกินแพลงก์ตอนบริเวณจุดดำน้ำแบบ Pinnacle กลางทะเล

แม้จะมีโอกาสพบฉลามวาฬรอบเกาะเต่าหลายแห่ง แต่จุดที่มีโอกาสพบมากที่สุด คือ Sail Rock

แน่นอนว่าคุณต้องมีโชคเล็กน้อย — แต่โอกาสนั้นมีอยู่จริง

Secret Pinnacle @ Sail Rock

เหมาะสำหรับนักดำน้ำที่มี Deep Certification เท่านั้น (สามารถเรียนเพิ่มเติมได้)

นอกจากกองหินหลักที่โผล่พ้นน้ำแล้ว Sail Rock ยังมี “Secret Pinnacle” ซึ่งเป็นกองหินใต้น้ำที่ซ่อนอยู่ไม่ไกลจากจุดหลัก

การว่ายข้ามจาก Sail Rock ไปยัง Secret Pinnacle ต้องผ่านบริเวณน้ำลึกและอาจมีสภาพกระแสน้ำที่ท้าทาย ดังนั้นจึงควรมีใบรับรอง PADI Deep Specialty หรือเทียบเท่า และการใช้ Nitrox (EANX) จะช่วยเพิ่ม Bottom Time ได้มากขึ้น

รางวัลของการว่ายข้ามไปคือการได้สำรวจส่วนหนึ่งของจุดดำน้ำที่นักดำน้ำส่วนใหญ่ไม่เคยเห็น Secret Pinnacle เต็มไปด้วยปะการังและสัตว์ทะเลหนาแน่น พร้อมบรรยากาศการดำน้ำที่ตื่นเต้นยิ่งขึ้น

สภาพทะเล & ช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสำหรับการดำน้ำ

• ยกเว้นช่วงมรสุมเดือนพฤศจิกายน Sail Rock สามารถดำน้ำได้ดีเกือบตลอดทั้งปี
• กระแสน้ำในอ่าวไทยส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในระดับเบาถึงปานกลาง
• หากต้องการทัศนวิสัยดีที่สุด ควรหลีกเลี่ยงช่วงมรสุมและช่วงใกล้วันพระจันทร์เต็มดวง
• ช่วงที่มีโอกาสพบฉลามวาฬมากที่สุดคือระหว่างเดือนมีนาคมถึงมิถุนายน

ขนาดกลุ่มดำน้ำ

ทริป Sail Rock ของเรามักมีนักดำน้ำประมาณ 10-20 คนบนเรือของ Simple Life Divers

เมื่ออยู่ใต้น้ำ เราจะแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มเล็กเพียง 1-4 คนต่อ Dive Guide เพื่อให้ทุกคนได้รับประสบการณ์ดำน้ำที่ดีที่สุด

ทีมงานของ Simple Life Divers ให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดกลุ่มตามประสบการณ์ของนักดำน้ำ เพื่อให้ทุกคนได้สนุกกับการดำน้ำแบบปลอดภัย ดำน้ำได้นาน และมีโอกาสพบสัตว์ทะเลมากมาย

อยากดำน้ำ Sail Rock? สิ่งที่ควรรู้ก่อนจอง

• ต้องเป็นนักดำน้ำที่มีใบรับรองแล้ว โดยขั้นต่ำคือ PADI Open Water หรือเทียบเท่า แต่ PADI Advanced จะเหมาะกว่า เนื่องจากความลึกของจุดดำน้ำ Sail Rock ไม่เหมาะสำหรับ Snorkeling หรือ Intro Dive
• นัดพบเวลา 06:45 น. และกลับถึงเกาะเต่าช่วงบ่าย
• รวมดำน้ำ 2 ไดฟ์
• รวมอาหารกลางวัน (อาหารไทย) หากมีข้อจำกัดด้านอาหาร กรุณาแจ้งล่วงหน้า
• กลุ่มดำน้ำขนาดเล็ก (1-4 คน)
• สัตว์ทะเลอุดมสมบูรณ์
